Zamperla-brand roller coasters are off to conquer Asian amusement parks. The Altavilla Vicentina-based company, one of the world's leading players in the development, production and marketing of amusement park equipment and plant has obtained a loan to expand its presence in China from SIMEST – which together with SACE forms the export and internationalisation hub of the CDP group. Zamperla has long been a customer of SIMEST, which supported its entry into the Chinese market in 2007 by taking a stake in the local subsidiary, and SACE, which has supported its exports to Belarus and Guatemala.
Zamperla is one of the 71 Italian companies that received support from SIMEST last May for their internationalisation efforts, with soft loans to cover the costs of participation in trade fairs, exhibitions and system missions, the opening of commercial outlets, the implementation of feasibility studies or to strengthen the capital of exporters. Overall, support amounted to about €22 million euros for commercial operations in 19 countries: Albania, Saudi Arabia, Canada, China, the Ivory Coast, Dubai, Egypt, Ethiopia, Japan, Lebanon, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, the United States, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
