SIMEST, a company which, together with SACE, forms the export and internationalisation hub of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group, financed the internationalisation projects of 66 Italian companies in July. The twenty destination countries comprise: Albania, Australia, Brazil, China, Congo, Ivory Coast, Cuba, United Arab Emirates, Japan, India, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Mexico, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and the United States. The companies receiving support include:
- GRADED Spa of Naples has operated for 60 years in the design, construction and maintenance of plants for the production and transformation of thermal and electrical energy from renewable resources. Thanks to the SIMEST financing, it will open a commercial office in Dubai from which it will serve customers throughout the Middle East.
- CANTINE DI MARCO Srl of Martina Franca (province of Taranto), has been operating since 1962 at its current facilities in Valle d'Itria, where it produces over one and a half million bottles a year of Negroamaro, Primitivo di Manduria, Locorotondo and other traditional wines of Puglia. It will use a SIMEST loan to open commercial office in China.
- D.G. GROUP Srl of Andria (province of Barletta-Andria-Trani) was founded in 1987 and manufactures clothing for women and girls sold under the Jijil brand. Its entire output is made in Italy and distributed worldwide. It obtained a loan from SIMEST to open a single-brand showroom in Durrës, Albania.
