SIMEST, a company of the CDP Group’s export and internationalisation hub, is supporting the expansion in Japan of MooRER, a Verona-based company that operates in the "Personal Luxury Goods" sector and is a world leader in the manufacture of down jackets and other high-end outerwear.
Thanks to the SIMEST loan of €2.4 million, the company – which already exports its garments to the country – will open a single-brand store in the centre of Tokyo in response to the growing appreciation and interest of Japanese consumers. The goal is to increase its market share in Japan, both through retail sales and the expected increase in orders thanks to the greater brand visibility offered by the store.
MooRER is also a customer of SACE, which has guaranteed about €2 million of financing for the company's expansion in Russia, the United States, Germany, Europe, Japan and Korea.
MooRER Spa, a company founded in 1999 by Moreno Faccincani in Castelnuovo del Garda, designs and sells 100% “Made in Italy” down jackets and other outerwear, characterised by high quality and close attention to detail. It distributes its brand in Italy, but above all abroad, with over 950 outlets in leading multi-brand stores and department stores in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Madrid, Moscow, Tokyo, Seoul and Berlin. Its main suppliers include Italian companies such as Marzotto and Loro Piana.
